Send Cards &
Receive Cards!
Volunteer to Send us Cards:
We ask our generous community to mail us uplifting messages written on handmade or traditional store-bought greeting cards. We accept Inspirational, Get Well, Birthday, and Christmas cards. These messages uplift our community, to give reassurance, strength, and inspiration to those who need it.
-
You may include stickers, notes, drawings, typed messages, artwork, or anything else that is relatively flat and will fit inside an envelope.
-
Sign your first name only. You can add your whole family or group, pets, where you are located, etc. An example would be "from Steph, Ross, and our Spaniel Bobo, from sunny California!"
-
Include your card in the envelope if you have one, but do not seal the envelope.
-
You may decorate the envelope. Do not address the outside of the envelope with a return address.
-
You may send several cards together in one large envelope or box.
-
Mail your cards to this address:

Cards of Compassion gathers together the Virtual Card messages and greeting cards. We carefully select around 50 cards that are special for each recipient, depending on their life situation. Then we bundle them in a bright ribbon and mail this bundle to the recipient!
Nominate a Loved One to Receive Cards:
Our recipients are nominated by a family member or friend who cares for them deeply and wishes them to receive some heartfelt compassion and kindness. Our service is free and available to people of all ages and situations.
Nominating someone you know is safe, easy, and rewarding. It is our goal to spread our compassion to anyone who could benefit from our program. Whether they are dealing with an illness, fighting with emotional or mental stress, or feeling isolated, or celebrating a birthday, they are all beautiful people to be recognized and given kindness and support.
Please feel free to nominate yourself if you would like us to support you!
Because grief is a personal and difficult situation, we are not accepting any more Sympathy cards. We are only accepting nominations for persons in The United States of America at this time. We cannot send cards to prison inmates due to regulations.
