Volunteer Your Compassion Today!
Cards of Compassion is a volunteer-driven greeting card drive.
We are a free community service non-profit organization that collects greeting cards and virtual cards from our volunteers. We put all the cards into a package called our Bundle of Joy, and then we send that Bundle of Joy off to people who could be uplifted by the voices of community support.
Send homemade or
store bought greeting cards with a written message of encouragement. Make sure you sign the card with your first name. Be creative and inspired! Include your children with their drawings, add stickers or bookmarks, or send a card from your furry family!
We accept "Thinking of You", Sympathy, Get Well, Birthday, Winter Seasonal and Christmas cards
Volunteer virtually with our Virtual Card program. Choose a design and type in an encouraging message. We print the cards on cardstock or have volunteers hand-write your messages on greeting cards and include them in the recipient's Bundle of Joy package.
Just say "Hello!" or type messages of inspiration, poetry, quotes, or personal stories of inspiration.
All cards are sent to us. We gather the greeting cards and print the Virtual Cards, wrapping them together in a bright red ribbon. Each package contains 50-60 cards. We call this our Bundle of Joy! We then mail the Bundle of Joy to our recipient.
We accept nominations from you, someone who cares deeply about their loved one. We offer this service freely, with no obligations.
We welcome your recipient whether they are dealing with an illness, fighting with emotional or mental stress, grieving a loss, feeling isolated, or celebrating a birthday.
Everyone deserves support and kindness.
Cards of Compassion is a volunteer-driven non-profit* community organization funded solely on your donated items and monetary gifts. All donations are used to continue our mission and we thank you for your support!
